November 2nd - 6th

Dressing up in costumes, playing games, and making crafts was a real treat for the kindergarten class. Last week we celebrated our Halloween Mission Party!  Thank you to the Parents' Association, our Grandparents' committee, and the 7th and 8th grade classes for providing lots of fun at the Halloween Mission Party! We had a great day!

Last week we celebrated Lexie's birthday with a dance party!  It was a double celebration with Halloween and a birthday!  Thank you, Lexie, for the little birthday gift bags and fun dance party!

This week our Neumann University ASL students taught us how to say many family words such as mother, father, aunt, uncle, cousin, brother, sister, and many more!  The kindergarten students are beginning to sign in complete sentences using the skills our Neumann friends have taught them.  Each week I'm so impressed how much the kindergarten students are learning and retaining!

Miss Mann stopped into kindergarten this week and read the class the story, There Was An Old Who Swallowed A Turkey!  This story was full of rhyming words and silly pictures!  The students enjoyed having Miss Mann as our guest reader!

This week we the Early Childhood division celebrated Grandparent's Day!  The students spent the morning with their grandparents working in the classrooms and enjoying a special snack together! The kindergarten students worked on creating stories together and spent special time doing an art project together in art class!  It was a fun time had by all!
