Throughout the week, some students have worked independently on building sentences using the Montessori moveable alphabet.  We have been building two digit numbers with the Montessori materials, and using the teen and ten boards.

The students are using the Smart Board to work on abcya.com.  This is a terrific website to work on math and reading skills.

Apples Anyone!  This week in science we did some taste testing.  We decided if the apples had a sweet taste or a sour taste.  We also voted for our favorite apple and the Red Delicious was the winner!

To end our week, the students used watercolors to make beautiful Fall pictures!  The letter of the week was: S.  Our words of the week were:  the, see.  Please review these words at home.

Welcome to Kindergarten!
