December 3rd - 7th

This week the students took a ride on the classroom "Polar Express!"  We read the story, made a classroom train and worked on retelling the story using beginning, middle, and end.  The students had fun wearing their pajamas to school for the day and watching the movie while enjoying a special treat!  We even had tickets!

Polar Express Fun

All Aboard!

Tis the season!  We have been very busy getting ready for our Christmas Show!  You won't want to miss it.  The Kindergartners will act out the Nativity as the Fourth Graders tell the story.  The First, Second, and Third Graders make a beautiful choir and the Pre-Kindergarten class are the joyful angels!

Also, the Third and Fourth Grade classes will be putting on a wonderful Christmas play as the First and Second Graders help with the singing.  The Kindergarten class are an added bonus this year and will represent the animals in the manger!  A huge thank you to Ms. Brown for all her hard work, dedication, and guidance!  Again, you don't want to miss it!

This advent the school's focus for service will be collecting materials for the Providence Center.  It is an education center founded by the SHCJ sisters in the Fairhill section of Philadelphia.  Please send in items by Monday, December 17th.  Thank you!
