This week at our Service Commissioning prayer service, Aubrie in PK and Emmy in Kindergarten were our representatives to accept the School Drive Coordinators plaque. This year the PK and Kindergarten students will organize various collection drives throughout the year. Stay tuned for information about our first drive!
We were so excited to have a guest reader this week! Dr. Kellich surprised the class and read a very special story called, The Scarecrow and the Spider. This is a beautiful story about friendship, kindness, and shares the message that God is always with us. Thank you Dr. Kellich for reading to the class this week. We really enjoyed your visit, special stickers, and the story!
Happy Founder's Day! On Friday, we celebrated Founder's Day with a fun pep rally in the morning, followed by classroom work with the 6th graders. The 6th graders helped us with writing Halloween stories with the Montessori Movable Alphabet and played fun bingo games as well. It was such a fun morning. We also celebrated by having a picnic lunch outside with the entire school. It was a lot of fun!
