January 18th - 21st

This past week we celebrated two very important people.  Last Friday, we had a prayer service to celebrate the birthday of Cornelia Connelly, the founder of the Holy Child Schools.

We also honored Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a special Early Childhood prayer service.
Each class designed a special heart with words that describe a peaceful classroom.

The students worked on creating phonetic sentences using the Montessori Movable Alphabet.  They chose a word or two from the "Winter" word chart and used our word wall to help create their fantastic sentences!
