This week the Pre-K and Kindergarten collaborated on a fun activity called "Balloons Over Broadway!" We listened to the story and learned the history behind the Macy's Day parade! Next, we partnered up the students and allowed them to color a fun coloring page all about the Thanksgiving parade. Then we allowed the two partners to work together and choose a character they would like to hold together in our "Holy Child" Thanksgiving parade. Later in the week, the students worked together on coloring and cutting out their balloon characters. We are looking forward to parading the halls of HCA next week!

November 17th - 21st
Last week during science, the class worked on using a balancing scale. We placed 10 corn kernels on one side of the scale, and other objects such as a craft stick, cotton ball, plastic cube, a coin, and crayon on the other side. Next, we made predictions on which would be heavier, the 10 kernels or other objects from around the room.
