This week the Kindergarten students worked on creating winter sentences with the Movable Alphabet. The boys and girls came up with a list of words that have to do with winter. Though we haven't had much in the way of snow, the students came up with some great ideas if we do get a snowstorm!
The PK and Kindergarten students did it again! Another successful collection drive! Our HCA families donated 117 coats! The boys and girls sorted the coats by adult and children sizes. The coats will help those in need this winter. Thank you for donating!
For Community time, the boys and girls participated in a Hispanic Heritage Celebration!
They made maracas, had a Latin dance party and listened to the story of the "Hungry Caterpillar" in Spanish while coloring pictures of items listed with Spanish words! A big thank you to our Diversity Committee for organizing our special day! The students really enjoyed the activities!
A special thank you to Braela's dad for coming in to read to Braela and the class on her birthday! The boys and girls really enjoyed the story and the treat bags!
